Penguinpig – Lincolnshire Tour!
We are very excited about our upcoming shows in Lincolnshire. Penguinpig will start its tour at Louth Playgoers Riverhead Theatre at the end of this week with two shows (1pm & 3pm) on Saturday 2 April. Followed by two more shows at Spilsby Theatre on Friday 8 April and at The Stanhope Hall in Horncastle on 9 April 2016.
After the shows at Spilsby and Horncastle TRAUM will also run a free puppet making workshop where the little ones can explore the art of puppetry and make their own puppets.
Penguinpig, is a fun-filled show about e-safety for 3-8 year olds and their grown ups, based on the best-selling picture book by Louth author Stuart Spendlow, illustrated by Amy Bradley. As Amy Bradley mentioned at Uttoexter Advertiser “Penguinpig is an interactive play which, like the book, approaches e-safety in an exciting and accessible way for children”. Check out Amy’s full interview here
TRAUM theatre has been successfully performing at schools and venues around the UK, as well as running participatory workshops, which focus on developing creativity and skills in an intriguing and imaginative way. Penguinpig will tour to 21 venues this spring, performing for up to 1,800 children and families, alongside a participation programme of workshops for up to 1,400 3-10 year olds. Penguinpig is supported with public funding by Arts Council England, Northumberland County Council and East Lindsey District Council.
