Nature Elly
Created in association with Little Angel Theatre, commissioned by Lincolnshire One Venues and SO Festival.
Elly runs the best farm, but the carrots have been trampled, the apples have vanished and there’s hay everywhere! Come and help Elly and Bob the Pheasant save the harvest, and discover the mystery animal hiding in the hay-stack.
Nature Elly is a puppetry show created especially for 2-5 year olds, full of interactive fun, beautifully written original music and a cast of stunning and adorable animal puppets for little ones to meet. Created by award-winning Barmpot Theatre, in association with the UK’s leading puppetry theatre, Little Angel Theatre, and commissioned by Lincolnshire One Venues and SO Festival.
Nature Elly aims to encourage children and their parents to engage more with nature in their local area, to spend more time outdoors playing, and to learn about and value the animals that live in their locale. The show has been developed in collaboration with 10 schools and nurseries in Lincolnshire, with outdoor learning and wildlife expert Ashley Butterfield at Lincolnshire Outdoor Learning and with dramaturgical support from the leading early-years director Sarah Argent.
