All of our productions are underpinned by educational themes, and these are often supported by interactive workshops to bring to life further the themes of the work. Our previous educational themes include awareness around internet safety, and teaching children about different animals and wildlife habitats in their locale. We use the medium of entertainment in our productions to engage children to appreciate the arts of theatre, drama and puppetry, which consequently educate them in the importance and promotion of these art forms.
Barmpot Theatre create and deliver puppet theatre performances for children and families. We also deliver drama, story-telling, script and short-story writing, puppetry, outdoor learning and general craft workshops. Crafts which have been included in workshops in the past include paper crafts such as origami, clay and pottery and macrame, promoting a wide range of arts, crafts and drama skills to children.
